A Warwick High College math and engineering instructor was named this year’s Exemplary Computer Science Educator in Pennsylvania for his contributions to growing the laptop or computer science discipline for all learners.

Jeffrey Wile gained the award at the 2022 #CSForAllPA Summit in late June. He was picked from a pool of a few finalists, which provided Heather Hedderman of the Wattsburg Place University District and Elizabeth Woods of the Indiana Area College District, according to a Warwick Faculty District information release.

All a few finalists spoke as part of a panel discussing their work in advancing laptop or computer science options within their respective districts and communities. Wile, for instance, started off a new regional Computer system Science Teacher Association chapter that assisted laptop science instructors hook up to master collectively and from each individual other.

“Reflecting about the past several a long time, I am thrilled with how significantly our computer system science program at Warwick has developed and how Warwick college students have taken advantage to learn computing capabilities in my classroom,” Wile claimed in the information release.
